Procedures:

  •  BATC staff nominate and determine recipient.  Individuals are not notified of their nomination and no bio is requested.
  • A recipient is not required every year and in a given year, more than one individual may receive the award at The BIG Night.
  • The award recipient(s) receive a traveling trophy with a perpetual plate of previous recipients for the duration until the next BATC BIG Night.  The trophy then passes to the new recipient.  If there is not a recipient in the given year, the trophy will be displayed in the BATC trophy case. If there is more than one recipient in a given year, then the trophy will rotate between the numbers of recipients in an equal allotment of time.  The former recipient will pass along the traveling trophy to the new recipient(s) at the BIG night and will be presented with a plaque to keep, to commemorate their recognition.
