Contractors, Remodelers, Painters, Plumbers, Roofers, Electricians and HVAC Technicians … enrolling in a lead certification course is a crucial step in protecting your clients, your firm, your workers, and yourself. Becoming certified fulfills the Environmental Protection Agency’s Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) rule, which states that if you are paid to perform renovation, repair, or painting work in houses built before 1978, you must be trained to do so.
The EPA can fine up to $37,500 per offense, per day to anyone who is not compliant.
