Join Our Legacy Society

How will you build your legacy?
We invite you to be a founding member of our Legacy Society. Gifts to the Legacy Society will provide the core of our Future Fund and will make certain that the BATC-Housing First Minnesota Foundation will continue for years to come. We need your help to build the fund to our initial goal of one million dollars.

It's Easy to Join: Joining the Legacy Society is as easy as including the BATC-Housing First Minnesota Foundation in your will and letting us know. There is no minimum gift and you do not need to disclose the amount.

Contact shelly@batc.org, BATC-Housing First Minnesota Foundation Coordinator, to learn more.

Bequests
Gifts made through wills or living trusts are commonly referred to as bequests. They're popular because they're easy to arrange and can be changed at your discretion. They allow you to make a significant contribution to the Foundation while reducing estate taxes. These gifts are a powerful way to support a cause you care about far into the future.

Other Ways to Give
Other forms of Legacy Gifts are also acceptable and include naming the Foundation as an insurance beneficiary or gifts of real estate or stock. Some Legacy Gifts can even provide you and your spouse with fixed income payments for life while providing you with tax benefits.

Founding Members
As a Founding Member of the Legacy Society, we would like to let others know that you have committed to this special program. With your permission, your name will be included on our website and in publications designed to encourage Legacy Gifts.
