Call for Instructors

Have knowledge you would like to share?

BATC-Housing First Minnesota is looking for great instructors who can provide top-quality classroom and online courses for the next Contractor University series. Continuing education courses for Minnesota + Wisconsin contractors, Minnesota building officials, Minnesota REALTORS, and those just attending to learn from the experts.

Topics can include, but are not limited to: 
Building/Energy Codes    Building Science  •  Business Management Training  •  Construction Techniques  •  Insulation  •  Energy Conservation  •  Insurance Issues for Contractors  •  Legal Issues Related to Residential Construction  •  Safety Compliance  •   Mechanical Systems

Qualified continuing education instructors must have at least ONE of the following qualifications: 
Four years of practical experience in the subject area being taught 
A college or graduate degree in the subject area being taught
Demonstrated expertise in the subject area being taught
Direct experience in the development of law, rules, or regulations related to the residential construction industry

Deadlines:
August 2, 2019 - Application Due
September 6, 2019 - Final Presentation Materials Due (if your course is selected)
